SoundID Reference headphone calibration software contains more than 470 headphone profiles for the most popular studio headphone models, including Audio-Technica, beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Sony, and others.
Sonarworks calibration engine adjusts the sound signal going to the headphones based on the headphone measurement profile and user-selected reference target, to ensure that the headphones accurately deliver the reference sound of the listener’s choice. The default flat frequency response reference target matches the frequency response of flat-sounding speakers, ensuring smooth translation between working on studio monitors and headphones. Depending on personal preference, the user can adjust the reference target curve with the custom target feature.
In the latest software release, 17 new supported headphone models have been added to the list bringing the total amount of calibration profiles available to 477. Here is a list of the added headphone models:
