Your role in the company
Sonarworks is currently focusing on developing a user feedback based technology for personalization of sound to individual preferences. This technology is based on large amount of multidimensional user data. Data scientist position will be the cornerstone in making this happen. Working with data sets representing both objective acoustic measurements and subjective listener experiences, you will structure the data in a meaningful way and extract hidden (or obvious) patterns with the ultimate goal of optimizing result generation algorithms. For this project you will be working alongside a team of 12, involving product managers, design and UX specialists, researchers and a team of developers.
In the future you will have the opportunity to be involved with different product teams working on improving specific product functionality as well as working with the research team on solving very fundamental science problems.
What you will be doing
Structuring/analyzing large datasets
Researching/developing unique data analysis algorithms
Maintaining and upgrading the architecture and storage of gathered data
Co-develop scientific basis on new data-driven features in our product line
Qualifications we are looking for
Experience with Big Data solutions
Experience with Python and/or R in data analysis
Ability to work in an Agile environment
Critically thinking mind
